Ian and Jess have provided the most incredible service throughout the whole process of designing an engagement ring and wedding bands. Ian's attention to detail and ability to interpret our vision, paired with Jess's extraordinarily communication skills, left me and my fiance not only with stunning rings, but with fond memories of the whole experience.My fiance remarked that she's a little bit sad we've finished the process and don't have any future appointments to look forward to.10/10 will return as soon as we find a reason to. This is the best place to get a custom ring made. Ian and Jess are lovely to deal with, consider carefully what you want and make it happen. Ian is a genuine craftsman who takes pride in his work and just makes beautiful rings. My fiance was so happy with her wedding ring that she cried, she adores her engagement ring and I couldn't be happier with the finished design of my own wedding ring. These guys are a treasure and I wish there were more small businesses like this in Victoria. I would never go anywhere else.

We’ve just had our wedding about 3 weeks ago, so this review is long overdue. We would like to thank Ellissi for their amazing service. Prior to making an appointment I did my research and could find nothing but positive reviews about Ellissi. From the first email to when we first walked into their door, Jess and Ian, were very welcoming. They were both very professional and lovely with a clean working space/ office. My engagement ring was made about 2 years ago whilst our wedding bands were made just last year. The consultations were free and Ian really took the time to explain everything we needed to know about the ring. He was honest, used simple terms and relatable metaphors to explain the details of a ring – 4C’s and no question was ever too silly to ask him. He told us many things that I wasn’t even aware of from my research online, and their rings are GIA certified (but he will explain all this properly) so it’s definitely worth a visit. Even my husband (who knew nothing about rings) was super impressed by the time the consultation had ended and even he found the ring education interesting. Ian NEVER once throughout the process pressured us into buying a ring, instead, listened patiently to really assist us in finding the ring that was right for me. Ian made us feel so comfortable and we could sense he genuinely cared. When I left his office that day, I thought – “yep, I’m choosing him to make my ring” (Note: this was the only ring company I had gone to as well, but went into many jewellery stores, but feeling confident with Ellissi, I knew I didn’t need to waste my time going elsewhere). From memory (2 years ago) we had about 3 visits total and in the end picked up my engagement ring once it was completed. I absolutely LOVE my engagement ring – it’s truly a work of art and can tell he was very meticulous about the finer details. I always get praises for my ring and omg it’s super sparkly. I later found out that my work colleague had her ring made through Ellissi over 10 years ago too and she was very happy with her ring. My husband finally proposed in March 2019. Months before our wedding, we then went back to Ian to make our wedding bands. My wedding band also matches beautifully with my engagement ring and it’s so comfortable to wear. My husband who loves gold, was blown away with his ring. We would like thank Ian, Jess and the team for their wonderful service. It was always a pleasure meeting up with them and I even joked about seeing him again in 10 years time to make an anniversary ring. I WOULD HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Ellissi to all men looking to make that special ring fit for his beautiful wife. Thank you Ian for the stunning and unique wedding band you designed and created for me!I came to Ian, frustrated that multiple jewellers could not help me. I had purchased an engagement ring from another company that had a unique base that made it almost impossible for a wedding band to sit flush without a big hole or curve being incorporated into the design. Add to this I wanted a wedding band that was dramatic, thick and was filled with diamonds. Overall I acknowledged this was a very complex design brief and add to that a limited budget!The first thing I noticed about Ian was that he is genuinely interested in educating his clients and has their best interests at heart. Unlike many jewellers I met who said ‘yes’ to please their clients or secure their business, Ian was honest about design concepts, what would or would not work and how to get the best value for money without compromising on quality or style. He was happy to answer my many questions in detail and met with me on multiple occasions, even before we decided to hire him. He is very generous with his time and it is clear that his priority is to ensure his clients get a well designed/made ring and they are happy with it .What most impressed me about Ian was his depth of knowledge about metals and stones and how a ring would look and feel and fit and move when it was made. That innate knowledge is priceless when creating a ring that you will wear forever.Ian is an amazing artisan. He was able to take a very rough idea I had broadly described to him and turn it into a ring that surpassed all of my expectations. He listened to my complex design brief and was able to deliver a ring that met all my ‘must haves’ and ticked boxes I didn't know existed! His creativity, attention to detail and his passion and pride in his work sets him apart from other jewellers.The wedding band is absolutely beautiful, it is everything we could want and best of all both rings sit perfectly all the time! We receive compliments about the wedding band everywhere we go. Thank you to Ian and Jess for your patience and understanding during this process, you were just as keen as I was to get it right - if not more so. Through all the revisions and the countless hours of extra work you did, what stood out was your desire to deliver the ring I envisioned.
