“Very Good” cut is one level below “Excellent” cut. Some people prefer VG to the excellent cut, as it often has a larger table facet exceeding 62 %, which can make the diamond appear to be larger in the ring.

No perceivable difference can be detected to the eye in cut performance between EX – VG, and as diamonds that are graded VG in cut often have a better price, they can be great value for money. E3915
